Rim Bottling Plant
|
|
The Rim bottling plant is located on the eastern side of Mount Sannine at an altitude of 1250 m.a.s.l. It has been recently fitted with advanced and modern equipment. The plant receives natural spring mineral water by gravity from an altitude of 1450 m.a.s.l. and is bottled very carefully in order to safeguard quality and purity.
Water first reaches the plant via a Stainless Steel (316) piping network, this water is subject to continuous laboratory control under the supervision of in-house specialists on an ongoing basis.
Rim Natural Mineral Water S.A.L. is currently operating a highly sophisticated, tailor-made bottling line supplied by Krones in Germany, with a bottling capacity of 35,000 bottles / hour for all availabe sizes.
After their final sealing and labeling, the bottles are packed in one of two different ways: They are either plastic wrapped, and then transferred to a machine called the “Handle applicate” which affixes a handle for easy carrying by the consumer, or packed in trademark cardboard boxes. Thereafter, the packs are placed on pallets and are transported to warehouses, where they are to be distributed in local and export markets.
